Jennifer Belle Schneider (Belle) joined VLP in 2014 and currently serves as Portfolio Manager for Bruce Vaughn. Belle’s main responsibility is asset development and management. Her duties include writing proposals, monitoring portfolios, placing trades, re-balancing accounts, investment research, and other portfolio related duties. She is also an integral part of VLP’s Investment Committee which meets quarterly to review our asset allocation, analyze our performance, and works to identify any changes that need to be made in holdings or target asset allocations. Belle also serves as VLP’s Business Development Specialist, heading up our writing, marketing, publishing, and community outreach efforts.
Belle started her career as an Instructional Systems Designer for federal auditing and accounting courses and has a unique set of skills that enable her to break down complex financial concepts into simple and understandable explanations. She works with Bruce to guide clients through their financial options by creating well-designed financial plans and strategic investment strategies that align their investments with their long term goals.
Belle also works with corporate clients to manage their company retirement plans and develop and deliver employee education. She is an active member of the Financial Planning Association National Capital Area Chapter which is a group dedicated to high standards of professional competence, ethical conduct and clear, complete disclosure.

Belle resides in Falls Church with her fiancée, Martin, and their two rescue dogs Abby and Blitzen. She enjoys spending time on the Potomac River on their boat or paddle boarding. She is also learning to be an apiarist- ask her about her bees!
