After twelve years in the field, Sarah is focused on helping clients who come to VLP during periods of financial need and/or transition. She works with individuals and couples providing goal-based financial plans and strategic investment strategies that help prepare clients to meet their short-term and long-term objectives, advising in the areas of retirement, Social Security, insurance, investing, tax considerations, and estate planning.
In addition to being a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Sarah is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®), specializing in helping individuals plan around the financial challenges that come with divorce.
Sarah has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Penn State University and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University. As a former teacher, Sarah brings an educational approach to financial planning and believes knowledge is empowering.
Sarah and her husband, Luis live in downtown Vienna, Virginia and enjoy being a part of the Vienna community. They keep busy with their 3-year old daughter Charlotte and 1-year old daughter Elizabeth. They also have a naughty toy poodle, “Pisco” who loves to steal baby socks and pacifiers. Sarah’s idea of “living greater” means investing in relationships. She values family and friends above all else and believes that the most rewarding relationships take ongoing time and effort.

Sean Beznicki brings a high level of market knowledge and in-depth insight to the firm. He contributes his deep understanding of the capital markets and experience with portfolio positioning, outlook, and implementation toward the investment goals of high-net-worth families, individuals, and small institutions.
Prior to joining VLP, Sean held positions with Glassman Wealth Services and Artemis Financial Advisors, where he worked to create and maintain holistic financial models for clients, as well as with Andersen Tax in McLean, where he served as a trusted advisor to institutional and high-net-worth clients.
Sean holds an M.B.A. concentrated in Finance from the University of Connecticut, and a B.A. in Biological Sciences from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
Sean and his wife Claire live with their corgi puppy in the Washington, D.C. area where they enjoy the numerous beer gardens, music venues, and strolls through the National Arboretum or Rock Creek Park.

Jessica is committed to delivering seamless, high-quality support that allows clients to pursue their financial goals with confidence. She manages account transactions, coordinates client meetings, and handles a wide range of responsibilities to ensure every detail is addressed with precision and care.
Jessica joined VLP Financial Advisors in 2025 as a Client Service Manager. She is motivated by her passion for helping others and is dedicated to providing clients with a seamless, positive experience. Jessica values building meaningful relationships and takes pride in being a trusted resource for their administrative needs.
She recently graduated with her MBA, concentrating in Finance, from the College of Charleston and also holds a BS in Business and Marketing from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Jessica and her husband now live in Washington, D.C. with their two cats, where they enjoy exploring the East Coast and staying active.
Group Investment Committee
In addition to your personal advisory team, VLP also has an internal team responsible for monitoring trends and guiding overall investment strategies. This group of experienced investment professionals meets quarterly—or more frequently, as markets dictate—to review asset performance, consider market conditions, and set forward-looking investment policy.
